There are many and varied ways to travel to Worcester...

Road

The most direct route via the motorway system is M5 Junction 7.  Take the A44 turn and follow the signs to the city centre or "brown" Cathedral signs.

 

Parking

Long stay parking is available suggested sites are St Martin's Gate, New Road and Tyebridge Street.  Visitors with disabled badges will have access to College Green for parking.  City car park map.

 

Rail

Worcester is served by two stations: Foregate Street (5 minutes walk from the Cathedral), and Shrub Hill (15 minutes walk). Through trains to Worcester are available from London, Oxford, Birmingham and Bristol.  National Rail Enquiries or The Trainline will give full details.

 

Canal & River

There are moorings at Diglis but above Sidbury Lock is quieter or Lowesmoor Wharf is pleasant. Diglis Locks are manned by the Basin staff and are open between 08:00 and 19:30.
